Vegetable Weevil (Listroderes difficilis) larvae are up to 12 mm long, yellow-green or cream with an orange-brown head, legless and have a curved body. Adults are 8 mm long, are greyish-brown with a V-shaped pale mark near the middle of the back and have a prominent snout. Vegetable weevils are flightless. Attacks canola, most vegetables, including brassicas and a wide range of weeds. Larvae and adults chew sections out of the leaves of seedlings, usually in the evening and night. Seedlings may be retarded or killed by feeding.
