Oil Seed

Oil Seed is a triglyceride extracted from a plant.  Vegetable oils are composed of triglycerides, as contrasted with waxes which lack glycerin in their structure. Although many plant parts may yield oil,  in commercial practice, oil is extracted primarily from seeds.
